Everyman Theatre

The Everyman is a landmark theatre designed by the famous Victorian theatre architect Frank Matcham who also designed the London Palladium among others.

On our most ambitious project, everything needed to be absolutely top specification. We used genuine gold paint, which cost over £100 a tin, to hand-paint the highlights. The wallpaper is hand painted and cost more than £100 a roll. We used over seventy rolls in total.

This paper mates up with a fibre lining paper which creates a base and helps hold the wall surface together.

We also utilised a special varnish to seal the wallpaper to keep it pristine for future generations.

The design is stunning we helped to transform the wonderful building back to its glory when built in 1891.
